As a woman wearing many hats I find myself often researching or searching the internet for information, ideas, answers, entertainment and the like. I am constantly trying to keep track of all the tidbits that I come across. Whether its bookmarking web pages, taking notes or grabbing screenshots. These days, there are too many web 2.0 websites popping up to name and number. And with the economy in a shambles as it is, they are coming and going just as quickly. This doesn’t dissuade my love for web 2.0, however. I like looking at all of the different start-up companies and their concepts for how their software will improve our lives in some way. Okay, so I’ll admit it before I even start writing anything…I’m an undercover nerd, techie, or geek, or whatever you want to call it. I say undercover because I’m a pro basketball player, and because people who know me, know that I am extra ‘cool’ too LOL. With that being said, I will proceed to rant and rave my newest discovery. I figured out how to post to my website that is powered through Joomla with Windows Live Writer. WLW is a program that is installed on your PC locally and allows you to post to your blogs. The reason I really like it is because it also downloads the style of your blog so you can preview what an actual post would look like according to the look of your blog, while you write.
